The owners of the property, who coincidentally run a renowned construction company, were eager to transform the site and build their dream home.
The property sits adjacent to a small marina and maximizing the view of the bay was paramount. The couple, who often worked from home, required a visual separation between public, private, and work-related spaces. Having formal space for outdoor entertainment was also a major program requirement. The existing pool created an boundary on the west side of the property, and double front yard setbacks, common for corner lots, restricted the North and East corners.
