Jared London began his formal study of architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design while receiving his BFA from Alfred University. He later attended the DIS program at the University of Copenhagen where he studied Scandinavian architecture and design. In 2007, Jared began working with renowned design firm Stelle Lomont Rouhani Architects. After completing his Master of Architecture at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2008, he returned to Stelle Lomont Rouhani where he held a position as Senior Architect and completed several projects with SLR Associated, the construction subsidiary of the firm.
Jared has over 19 years of design experience working on projects ranging from international resorts to public plazas and modern residential homes. In 2015, London Architecture + Design was founded.
London Architecture + Design uses a holistic method of design by approaching each project from multiple directions, considering the client's objectives, budget, and expectations. We envision environments that directly relate to the human body and our daily interaction with the spaces we inhabit. Our process combines complex pieces with the goal of a simplistic outcome — one which makes life easier. Our focus is on modern designs, bespoke solutions, and sustainable practices.
The practice is deliberately small. The firm principal leads every commission from initial concept through construction administration — providing a single point of contact and a direct line of communication throughout the entire process. This level of continuity and personal engagement is what larger firms, by their nature, cannot offer. The result is architecture that reflects a singular vision: modern, precise, and deeply specific to its site and its owners.
London Architecture + Design maintains its primary studio in the Hamptons, New York, with a satellite presence in Palm Springs, California. The firm is licensed to practice architecture in both New York and California.
